私の学生は私の財産でありサティヤ サイの宝石である――ババ
その学生をサイの理想、宝として磨き上げるのは、サイご自身で選ばれた大学の優れた教授の方々です。スワミご自身から指名され、30年にわたり、サイのそばで、サイの教育の使命を忠実に実践しておられるデサイ氏が来日されます。
デサイ氏はバガヴァンの大学の大学院を卒業されてすぐに、サイ大学のブリンダヴァン校の教員となられました。商学部において学士号を取得された時も修士号を取得された時も、ゴールドメダルを受賞されたデサイ氏は長年にわたって、サイの大学の学部の学生と大学院生に、広範囲にわたる学科を教えてこられました。デサイ氏はまた、シュリ サティヤ サイ全人格教育システムの中で最高の教師に与えられるサイクリシュナ賞を最初に受賞された方でもあります。
今回の来日にあたっては、(1)帰依の心を深めるには (2)ババ様のアヴァターとしての使命 (3)その他、数多くのババ様との個人的な体験、等、様々な視点からのお話をお聞きできる予定です。また、質疑応答の時間もとってありますので、具体的な事柄に関しても、直接お聞きできる貴重な機会となります。

ルチール K. デサイ先生のご紹介
シュリ ルチール デサイ先生は、サティヤ サイ大学商学部の准教授です。
サイ大学の商学部の研究生であり、公認会計士でもあるシュリ ルチール デサイ先生は、バガヴァンの大学の大学院を卒業されてすぐに、サティヤ サイ大学ブリンダヴァン校の教員となられました。商学部において学士号を取得された時も、修士号を取得された時も、ゴールドメダルを受賞された先生は、30年近くにわたって、サティヤ サイの大学の学部の学生たちと大学院生たちに、広範にわたる学科を教えて来られました。先生が扱っていらっしゃる学科の中には、財務会計学、原価計算、課税、証券分析と資産運用管理、企業合併吸収、財務管理等々があります。先生は、サティヤ サイ総合教育機関における最高の教師に授けられるサイ クリシュナ賞の第一回の受賞者となられました。
最初はバガヴァンの教育機関の学生として、次にその教師として、バガヴァンの蓮華の御足のもとで30年以上も過ごされた先生は、バガヴァンによる多くのプログラムやプロジェクトに積極的に参加して来られました。熱心な読書家でもあり、素晴らしい話し手でもあるシュリ ルチール デサイ先生は、バガヴァンの御臨席のもとでしばしば講演をされただけでなく、プラシャーンティニラヤムや、バンガロールや、コダイカナル、ムンバイその他の場所での様々な行事において、数多くの講演をしてこられました。教えること以外に博士が関心をお持ちなのは、読書、執筆、社会奉仕などの活動です。
Sri Ruchir K Desai
Sri Ruchir Desai is Associate Professor in Commerce at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.
A post graduate in Commerce and a qualified cost accountant, Sri Ruchir Desai joined the faculty of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute at its Brindavan Campus immediately after completing his post graduation from Bhagavan’s University. A gold medalist for both his Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Commerce degrees, he has been teaching a wide range of subjects to the under-graduate as well as post graduate students in the University for nearly three decades now. The range of subjects handled by him are Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Taxation, Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Mergers and Acquisitions and Financial Management among others. He is the recipient of the first Sai Krishna award for the best teacher in the Sri Sathya Sai system of integral education.
Having spent more than three decades at Bhagavan’s lotus feet, first as a student and then as a faculty member in Bhagavan’s educational institutions, he has actively participated in all the programmes and projects of Bhagavan. An avid reader and a good orator, Sri Ruchir Desai has delivered a number of talks in Bhagavan’s presence as well as at other gatherings in Prasanthi Nilayam, Bangalore, Kodaikanal, Mumbai among other places and occasions.
